Day 1301 - The End

In the morning, I taught.  Ruth came to my class for part of it (she caught me clarifying some issues in MacKinnon's "Difference and Dominance" but left before Cabral and Rorty).

Ruth picked up her dresses.

We napped a bit together.

Apparently, because of all the foul-ups, they gave Ruth and my folks the run of the business class lounge.  Ruth drank juice and my Mom sounded a little (deservedly) tipsy when she called.

Then Ruth went home.

Day 1179 - Doorway Dance Party

In July, we had a BBQ send-off for me (plus an excuse for a BBQ). It was a lot of fun, but I have absolutely no idea how this happened.

Day 1177 - Dad and Ruth Day

Because I'm leaving for Ghana soon, I've been trying to keep Ruth home with me one day each week for a Dad & Ruth day. The past couple of weeks, she has wanted to go to school every day instead (my feelings aren't giving me smiles). But two weeks ago, we took the day and went to breakfast and the zoo.

Here's Ruth at her favorite breakfast spot, Pete's Grille, double-fisting bacon and rocking out to Can't Hurry Love:

And here's her on one of her favorite things to do at the zoo, ride the banana space ships:
